ABOUT

Ryan Aimers is a growth partner to entrepreneurs building companies and disrupting industries. Over the past decade Ryan has supported over 100 home services businesses with the implementation of processes and technology to allow owners to grow while balancing their family and lifestyle.

Ryan's entrepreneurial roots began on a rural farm outside of Ottawa, Canada.

"I admired both of my parents who are small business owners (restaurants & personal training). My first "business" was affixing a wheelbarrow to my bike and combing the neighborhood on garbage night for empty beer bottles for the 5 cent return. That funded my first basketball net. Although today a Board might argue it wasn't the best use of CAPEX, I was hooked. The next businesses included: leaf raking, lawn mowing, snow shoveling, and used golf ball retail. The internet was dial-up from a shared family desktop computer, so marketing was "old school" flyers and business cards. I hired all of my friends who turned out to be terrible employees and thus I learned an important lesson before my 12th birthday. I am thankful for my early experiences that prepared me for two successful businesses in college: a residential painting franchise and a retail sleep-aid product."

Ryan graduated from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University, as an academic all-star leading the varsity rugby team to 3 provincial championships. Schooling provided the business foundations and financial toolkit to analyze what makes a company great. On the rugby field Ryan developed leadership and teamwork skills that have been equally as important.

Ryan resides in New York, NY - although due to a manic travel schedule typically works from airport hotel rooms and the back seat of taxis.
